While Occupy started with a basically good and moral goal, to urge the government to better represent themselves in a display of unity and peaceful protest, the movement has had some unforeseen side effects. For example, Black blocs, violent protests vandalism, police brutality, and even murder. Now there is a new effect of the protest but on the youth.
In interviews kids seem to be unable to grasp basic economic concepts, fighting for unity they display painted symbols of anarchy on their faces and there future plans... to be "professional protesters" a job that does not have a promising future.
funny or sad?
I personally find it sad how uneducated the youth is today not even realizing the contradictory in their symbolism and speech. Nothing in this world is free and we will have to fight and claw for it through our entire lives, there is no such thing as an easy and honest dollar which is why there is no "free college" to be had. The things these children would support is fundamentalist marxism or communism where everybody "has" everything and there is no want. These Ideal go directly against what this country stands for not because you cant have things here but because the Idea of communism and Marxism simply do not work. While on paper it seems like a good Idea you have to realize that this doesn't account for human error or corruption. This country stands for working hard and reaping what you sow taking what you earn from an honest days work, but it seems to me that today everybody wants a quick easy buck, something that does not exist.
