Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer has been "smeared" by Defense giant BAE. The company wrote that Dakota was mentally unstable and an alcoholic, seemingly with no evidence to back it up. All this happened after Dakota protested the sale of the best military equipment available to Pakistan a country we sometimes have problems with.

defamation?

What a hero did for this Country

I personally believe it is disgusting that a company would make false accusations about a hero to save themselves. I also believe we should not be selling our advanced scopes to Pakistan who recently fired upon us  then after we retaliated with a missile strike the spoke out against us for our actions and ordered us to stop using the Pakistani base we fly predator drones out of.

  1. I agree i think that if anyone needs to be watched it would have to Pakistan. They were clearly hiding Osama Bin Laden and they should not have access to our weapons designs. They are not to be trusted. I agree with the soldier and the company should face some kind of repercussions for what theyve done as well.

  2. I completely agree with this Nick. What the company has done to the reputation of this soldier is completely wrong. They cannot just go and accuse him of something that the company itself has decided to do. However, Pakistan is probably not the best country to sell weapons and other items to. Since they are not entirely friendly to us, they still should not have the right to be trusted.

  3. I agree with everyone, this is just mest up. First we dont even give them the actual pay that they truly deserve now they are being sued? This is just awfuf. They decide to do the one thing that we are to scared to do and this is how we treat them now. People are selfish.

  4. I agree with Nick Ader. There is no reason a corporation should have any bad or harmful things to say about a person that has put his/her life on the line to save our country. In my opinion, this company should be called out and shown to the government. Don't ask me what that might do, but I'm sure it would hurt their business. And for a company to call this man unstable is ridiculous. This man has been serving our country in the Middle East, been shot at, and dealt with death a lot. I'm pretty sure at this point in this long of the war, each soldier would be classified as "unstable."

  6. I Agree with Nick it is awful that a company would disgrace an honorable american hero. Everyone has a voice, and has the choice to speak up if they believe that something is wrong. This man took a stand and is being "smeared" for it, this is disgraceful

  7. I agree with Nick also. I can't believe somebody would disrespect a veteran/war hero. The guy was simply standing up for what he believes in. People are ripping him just for stating an opinion that he has. Thats ridiculous.
